The Frankie Shop Takes Over The Rue Saint-Claude, Paris
JULY 15TH – The Frankie Shop hosted a special event during the Paris Haute Couture Fashion week to celebrate the re-opening of our two new Parisian boutiques on the Rue Saint Claude, in the heart of the Marais district.
FROM FRANKIE, WITH LOVE
Located in the heart of the Marais district, both spaces were conceived to embody Frankie’s trademark masculin-féminin, timeless yet modern aesthetic; mixing luxurious materials such as wood, resin, their signature green onyx tables, and a vintage De Sede D-600 spiral sofa. The two locations fuse minimalist design with avant-gardist shapes, to create a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, all within mere footsteps from one another.
Guests were welcome to explore the store’s newly launched menswear and unisex collections; as well as a highly curated selection of lifestyle pieces at 14 rue Saint Claude. While the location across the street at 7 rue Saint Claude, offers a wide range of womenswear collections including Frankie’s own capsules and selected designer pieces from around the world.
With installations linking the spaces together as guests flowed through hanging silk ribbons, each space was orchestrated around pop-up bars featuring an ethereal mix of cocktails made in partnership with Bar Divine and a selection of juice pairings from local coffee shop, Maisie Café.
At sunset, guests were escorted down a side-street into a gallery space for a catered meal prepared by food concept creators, MANGER MANGER. Tables displayed an array of sculptural tasty creations including baguette table towers, plant-fruit bouquets, gemstone-shaped amuse-bouches and chalices of shell-shaped butter and more – all as edible as it was beautiful.
An intimate solo performance by French singer, Clara Luciani, closed this beautiful evening, and DJ Fiona Zanetti had everyone on the dance floor in a carefree atmosphere which is what defines Frankie at its core. Ending this fantastic event with a bang, we were closed down by the cops, which is always the sign of a good party.
Next stop New York! Stay tuned…
